Fun At The Apple Orchard

This weekend Grandma and Grandpa Cassidy came to town and we headed out to Erwin's Apple Orchard. We met Aunt Melissa and Uncle Paul there and took a tractor ride out into the orchard to pick apples. Avery rode in the wagon and had fun nibbling on the goods. We checked out the pumpkin patch and all the fall flowers. Avery had fun watching the kids playing in the haystacks. We ended the outing with some cider and warm cinnamon donuts. Yummy!

Labor Day Weekend At The Lake

For Labor Day weekend, we headed up to Canadian Lakes for a little rest and relaxation. The Arnold's came up too, so Avery and Tyson got in some good play time together. They are really starting to interact with each other. Avery went over to Ty and gave him a little kiss. She loves her cousin. He leaned in and gladly accepted. It was a very cute moment. Nana Nancy set up a little play tent in the front yard. The kids had a blast playing with beach balls and crawling in and out of the tent. The weekend was capped off by a boat ride on the lake with Captain Papa and the kids loved every minute of it.

Over the last few weeks, Avery has really been growing up. She is really starting to get good at walking and is learning more and more words every day. Today was her first full day at day care and Mommy and Daddy were a bit nervous. I guess she did really well and had a lot of fun.

Avery Walks on her Birthday!

On her first birthday Avery decided it was time to get up and go! I just happened to have my camera in hand to get some video of her walking from the couch to the red chair, but she wanted to go a bit further and proceeded right down the hallway to her bedroom. She almost mowed her Mommy down on the way. Go Avery!
